Will Breastfeeding help me bond with my baby?

As breastfeeding is one of the more intimate human experiences it provides the perfect way to bond with your child. One of the speculated reasons that bonding with your baby happens easier while breastfeeding is the release of the hormone Oxytocin while you are nursing.  It is believed that oxytocin helps a mother form attachment to her child and strengthens existing bonds. Hormones aside one of the best reasons that breastfeeding helps you bond with your baby is the continual and repeated physical contact  between you and your baby. So take the time as you and your child are snuggled together and enjoy the company of this little child that spent many months inside your body.  Think about life as they see it, though their eyes you are everything to them.
